Several celebrities took time out of their New Year festivities and took to Twitter to extend their warm greetings to fans. Some posted their reflections for the year ahead, others are thankful for the many blessings they received in 2018, while some are just thankful that 2018 is over and done with.
Check out some of the New Year’s greetings from celebrities:
Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton
Happy New Year from @parishilton and I ?✨?
It’s like back to 2006 for Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton when the two were besties and Kim was just part of Paris’ posse. Cue to 2019 and Kim’s in Forbes’ list of richest self-made women with an estimated net worth of $350 million backed by a TV show and cosmetic line, while Paris does whatever it is she is doing.
Looks like the two are besties once again, posting photos of them sliding down in the snow. In evening gowns. And in 4-inch high heels. Talk about goals!

Ariana Grande
Ariana Grande’s career may have soared in 2018, but her personal life was wrought with tears and drama.
Her ex, rapper Mac Miller she split with in April 2018 after two years of relationship, died of drug overdose on September 7. She got blamed and bullied by Miller’s fans, resulting in her shutting down her Instagram.
In May, she made headlines when she started a new relationship with Saturday Night Live’s Pete Davidson and they even got engaged. However, the romance fizzled and engagement called off in October.
When you read this tweet, you know that it is coming from someone who came from hell and back – and truly wish 2019 will be much, much better than 2018.
my timeline is beautiful rn. proud of u all and the human beings you’re growing into. happy nye ! continue to take care of / celebrate each other the way you always do. happy to know u thru the internet & have u in my life. our relationship is real and important to me. love u ?

Miley Ray Cyrus
“Same shit, New Year” …. Except that Miley is starting the New Year as a married woman. Surely that’s not the same shit!
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth had a low-key wedding that took place at Cyrus’ Franklin, Tennessee, home on December 23. While she and Liam haven’t spoken about the celebration, the couple posted on social media several photos giving fans a glimpse of what it was like.
Though Miley’s tweet could mean that while it is a New Year, she will still remain herself (in spite of whatever persona she will adopt in 2019). And I am sure fans can’t wait to see what she has in store for 2019!

Serena Williams
For tennis great Serena Williams, her New Year’s post was an ode to the working moms and dads, saying “anything is possible.” She may have won the most Open Era record of 23 grand slam titles, but she still has something to prove.
The feisty athlete knows a thing or two about balancing family life and having a baby with career and professional accomplishments. After taking time off to have a baby, Serena came back and won a Grand Slam competition – the French Open in May 2018. That’s not an easy feat! What she’s done to be able to come back and accomplish what she did is a pretty amazing thing! Not many professional athletes who have taken time off and given birth came back winning and be still at the top.
And Serena is looking mighty ready for 2019.
As I head into next year it’s not about what we can do it’s what we MUST do as working moms and working dads. Anything is possible. I am getting ready for the first match of the year and my dear sweet baby @olympiaohanian was tired and sad and simply needed mama’s love. pic.twitter.com/1fdzV1bHSa

Camila Cabelo
American-Cuban singer songwriter Camila Cabelo wrote a lengthy self-reflection on what New Year’s Eve means to her. The former Fifth Harmony singer’s message to fans is a deep introspection of 2018, and her hopes for 2019.
2018 was an amazing, dizzying year for Camila. She released her debut solo album, CAMILA in January 2018 to rave reviews. It debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart at the same time as her hit triple platinum certified single “Havana” reached #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, making Camila the first artist in 15 years to hold the #1 spot on both the Hot 100 and Top 200 charts simultaneously. Her collaboration with Shawn Mendes “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” reached #10 at pop radio and hit #20 on The Hot 100 chart. She was also tapped to open for Taylor Swift’s “Reputation” tour.
So what’s in store for Camila in 2019? Hopefully more good things, starting with the Grammy’s. Camila is nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album (“Camila”) and Best Pop Solo Performance (Havana Live).
Here’s to a blank page tomorrow. Happy new year ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️ pic.twitter.com/u1PWKa9qlr
