Fadi Fawaz was subjected to suspicions and blame for the death of George Michael. When the coroner announced the cause of death, it was found that the singer died of natural causes.

On March 7, 2017, the coroner finally released their report on the cause of George Michael’s death. It took 72 days for the coroner to declare that George died from natural causes brought about by his numerous health problems.

Darren Salter, senior coroner for Oxfordshire,  said:

Inquiries into the death of George Michael have been concluded and the final post-mortem report received.

As there is a confirmed natural cause of death, being dilated cardiomyopathy with myocarditis and fatty liver, the investigation is being discontinued and there is no need for an inquest or any further enquiries.

George did not die from drugs as the tabloids speculated. In a sit-down interview with the BBC, Andros’ claimed that George “died from a cocktail of drugs and alcohol” and that “hard drugs had been back in his life” with “crack was one of his favourite drugs.” The coroner’s report proved these claims false.

As Fadi said on Twitter, Andros is “making things up all along”:

After being attacked left and right since the death of George Michael, Fadi took to Twitter when the coroner’s report was out to say, “The Truth is out …” while hitting out on the haters.

It is human nature to try and find a scapegoat, and Fadi was unfairly blamed for the death of George Michael. In a statement that he issued to the press on March 14, 2017, Fadi said that:

Since George died I have read and seen some bad things written about me that I did not understand.

Often I did not even recognise myself or the life we had together.

Since my partner died (who I loved very much and always will) the world turned against me just for finding him dead in bed.

I became a monster overnight, with lots of made up stories.

I always refuse to go into the details of our life but I can tell you that many of the things being said are simply made up lies and very far from the truth.

We had a good life together and were companions in the good and the not so good times.

Now I just want to be left alone to get on with my life and to think about the person I have lost.

I want to grieve, and I want other people to show respect for the loss of the man who brought such wonderful music to all.

I want to be left alone.

I have nothing more for the newspapers to sell, only my grief. They are even judging that because I can still smile sometimes.

If they do continue to write about me I apologise in advance and tell you that this part of my life is finished now.

This sad, sad story is coming to its end and I just have to move on.
